Practice humility – Do not try to prove yourself to others

Humility and inner peace go hand in hand. The less compelled you are to try to prove yourself to others, the easier it is to feel peaceful inside.

Proving yourself is a dangerous trap. It takes an enormous amount of energy to be continually pointing out your accomplishments, bragging, or trying to convince others of your worth as a human being. Pride and arrogance actually dilutes the positive feelings you receive from an accomplishment or something you are proud of. To make matters worse, the more you try to prove yourself, the more others will avoid you, talk behind your back about your insecure need to boast, and perhaps even dislike you.

Ironically, however, the less you care about seeking approval, the more approval you seem to get. People are drawn to those with a quiet, inner confidence, people who don’t need to make themselves look good, be “right” all the time, or steal the glory.

Most people love a person who doesn’t need to show-off, a person who shares from his or her heart and not from his or her ego.

Harrier Jumpjet jumps into history forever.

The "FACTOR" which influenced a lot of "victories" and a hell lot of "defeats" for a rich histroy of RAF and also many other air defences of the world, seems to have its time to say a final GOODBYE from RAF. I, personally feel HARRIER was a multipurpose toy and a perfect JSF. The ability of vertical take-off and landing was a most influential aspect of this killer weapon. Honestly i ll indeed MISS this THING of not bein in action :( but still i have my SALUTES to this ULTIMATE MEAN MACHINE.

Up in smoke

Tue, Oct 19 06:25 PM
As Mark Twain once famously said, "Giving up smoking is easy. I ought to know, I've done it a thousand times." Every one of us has probably felt the same way when trying to kick the butt. The best efforts are quashed by that one last cigarette at a party, reaching out for it on a stressful day at work or just hanging out with friends. So why exactly is it so difficult to quit even when we are well aware of the harm it's doing?
- What's stopping you
To understand why smoking is so addictive, one needs to understand how nicotine behaves in the body. Dr Neha Malhotra, Consultant Psychologist, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad says, "Nicotine's molecule shape is very similar to that of acetylcholine, a natural neurotransmitter that is responsible for controlling muscle movements, breathing, heart rate, mood, appetite, memory, and most importantly, chemicals that stimulate the pleasure centres of the brain. Instead, nicotine begins to stimulate the brain to release large doses of dopamine, the hormone responsible for a happy feeling.
A smoker quickly learns to associate that euphoric feeling with smoking and the addictive damage is done." The second part of this psychological reaction is environmental. For instance, most smokers light up after a meal, while driving or when they are bored. This means that the person not only associates this new inner-high with smoking, but also with what they're doing when they're smoking. And here lies the answer towards making quitting a little easier. If you can replace this feeling of happiness with something like exercise or talking to someone when you feel the urge to smoke, you can control yourself.
- On the road to quitting
From self-motivation to counselling to prescription, there are several ways to stub the stick. Quitting cold turkey works for those whose addiction is limited to few cigarettes a day. Dr Bhawna Sirohi, Head, Medical Oncology, Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon, says, "It helps to write down your reasons to quit and have them ready every time you want to smoke. Know your triggers and keep away from them.
These could be people, places and feelings you associate with smoking." If you physically and psychologically require the substance to function, it's time you headed to a doctor. "Smoking needs to be seen as a medical illness, and that's the key to its treatment. It's a medical problem with a scientific treatment, and not merely a habit, or social influence," says Dr Samir Parikh, Consultant Psychiatrist, Max Healthcare.
An often used method for serious addicts is nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) that includes nicotine gum, lozenges and patches. However, the use of these is debatable as you are quitting smoking with the help of another nicotine product. Knowing how addicted you are can help you decide whether you need extra support such as a cessation programme or medication. Drugs designed to help smokers act at the same receptors in the brain where nicotine goes and binds, and release dopamine.
It's important for a person to report any mood changes or sleep disturbance during the treatment and it should be done under the combined supervision of a physician and a psychiatrist.
- What's in it for me
Dr Vijay Surase, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, Jupiter Hospital, Mumbai, elaborates on the physiological effects of smoking. "Smokers have a four-fold risk of developing a heart attack compared to non-smokers. Over a period of time, they develop deposits of fat inside the lining of the blood vessels, causing them to become hard and develop cracks."
For women on oral contraceptive pills, the risk increases as they are more prone to blood clots, strokes and cardio-vascular trouble. "Besides respiratory problems, half of the lung cancer cases and 70 per cent oral cancer cases can be attributed to tobacco," Says Dr Sirohi.
The effects of smoking on women are greater than on men in the same age group, as women have relatively smaller blood vessels and these get further constricted due to smoking. It disrupts menstrual cycles, causes pelvic inflammatory disease and can advance the onset of menopause. Nicotine has a serious impact on women's reproductive health and lowers chances of conceiving if either partner is a smoker. "Components in cigarette smoke affect estrogen production and cause a woman's eggs to be more prone to genetic abnormalities.
Long-term smoking can have an irreversible effect on ovarian function," says Dr Nandita Palshetkar, infertility specialist, Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. It can cause miscarriages, low birth weight babies and pre-term deliveries. If you are planning a pregnancy, quit at least three months before you conceive.
The incidence of osteoporosis is also greater among women who smoke as nicotine has a tendency of eroding bones. A lot of women tend to think that puffing away will kill appetite, and are even wary of putting on weight if they quit as the metabolic rate slows down. But what they don't realise is that it's harder to build muscle and tone up as one's stamina goes for a toss.
- Never too late
Even if you have been smoking for a few years, there's no reason to think that the damage is permanent. Smoking is the most preventable cause of death and India has the third highest number of women smokers (over one crore) in the world with the figures constantly rising. Within three months of quitting, your heart attack risk begins to drop and lung function improves. A year after quitting your added risk of heart disease is half that of a smoker and five years after quitting, the risk of a stroke is reduced to that of a non-smoker. It's time you took that statutory warning a little more seriously.
- Stub the butt
1. Try to avoid the places or people with whom you tend to smoke more often.
2. Use gum, or cloves, to delay the impulse to smoke.
3. Buy one cigarette at a time and never keep packs.
4. When you smoke, smoke only half the cigarette and throw away the rest.
5. Keep a count of how much you smoke each day and try to reduce every week.

Be aware of the snowball effect of your thinking

Your negative and insecure thinking can spiral out of control. Have you ever noticed how uptight you feel when you’re caught up in your thinking? And, to top it off, the more absorbed you get in the details of whatever is upsetting you, the worse you feel. One thought leads to another, and yet another, until at some point, you become incredibly agitated.

Needless to say, it’s impossible to feel peaceful with your head full of concerns and annoyances. The solution is to notice what’s happening in your head before your thoughts have a chance to build any momentum.

The sooner you catch yourself in the act of building your mental snowball, the easier it is to stop. You stop your train of thought before it has a chance to get going.

Practice ignoring your negative thoughts

It has been estimated that the average human being has around 60,000 thoughts per day. That's a lot of thoughts. Some of these thoughts are going to be positive and productive. Unfortunately, however, many of them are also going to be negative—angry, fearful, pessimistic, worrisome. Indeed, the important question isn't whether or not you're going to have negative thoughts — you are—it's what you choose to do with the ones that you have.

In a practical sense, you really have only two options when it comes to dealing with negative thoughts. You can analyze your thoughts —ponder, think through, study, think some more OR  you can learn to ignore them—dismiss, pay less attention to, not take so seriously. This later option, learning to take your negative thoughts less seriously, is infinitely more effective in terms of learning to be more peaceful.

Feels of fire down the throat !

Flavours which can kill you at a SIP :P

Walcott sidelined for ‘four to six weeks’ So damn irritating ! :(

Theo Walcott is likely to be out for “four to six weeks”, according to Arsène Wenger.

Speaking to TV Online on Thursday, the Arsenal manager confirmed the extent of the ankle injury picked up by the 21-year-old playing for England on Tuesday night.

It was announced earlier this week that Wenger will be without Robin van Persie for a similar length of time but, on the upside, Samir Nasri has recovered quicker than expected after knee surgery and could even be involved this weekend against Bolton. He’ll definitely be back for SC Braga on Wednesday.

In addition, Johan Djourou and Denilson are available after injury while Sebastien Squillaci could be involved for the first time after his move from Sevilla. All three came through a Reserve team run-out in midweek.

Wenger watched that 4-3 win over Blackburn’s second-string at Barnet on Tuesday night. However that same evening, Walcott was injured in the build-up to England’s first goal in Switzerland.

“The tackle looked quite bad,” said the Arsenal manager. “When you see how it turned his ankle I thought it would be three or four days or it would be four to six weeks. Unfortunately it will be four to six weeks. We had some good news about the scan because at some stage we were scared it could be worse. But overall it is a question of patience and rehabilitation.”

The same is true for Van Persie, who suffered his ankle injury at Blackburn a fortnight ago.

“That is bad news,” said Wenger. “At the start we were optimistic. Maybe a bit too much, thinking it would be one or two weeks. But the damage was bigger than expected and he will be four to six weeks.”

However the bad news ends there, with more positive suggestions about Nasri.

“He could even be involved against Bolton,” said Wenger. “He has had a very good preparation and joins in [training] tomorrow. If needed I will integrate him in the squad for Bolton but for sure he will be back for our first Champions League game against Braga.”

The manager added that Squillaci, Djourou and Denilson are “all physically available to play and to start. It is just a question of selection”.

Meanwhile Aaron Ramsey is on course for his November return. “Aaron is running,” said Wenger. “He is in the normal process but he is a little bit more long-term.”

Meanwhile Nicklas Bendtner (groin) is still “three to four weeks away”.

Be graceful when you're feeling bad

The happiest person on earth isn't always happy. In fact, the happiest people all have their fair share of low moods, problems and disappointments. Often the difference between a person who is happy and someone who is unhappy is not how often they get low, or even how low they drop, but instead, it's what they do with their low moods.

Many people take their low moods very seriously and try to figure out and analyze what's wrong. They try to force themselves out of their low state, which tends to compound the problem rather than solve it.

Intelligent people understand that both positive and negative feelings come and go, and that there will come a time when they won't be feeling so good.

So, when they are feeling depressed, angry, or stressed out, they relate to these feelings with the same openness and wisdom. Rather than fight their feelings and panic simply because they are feeling bad, they accept their feelings, knowing that this too shall pass.

Rather than stumbling and fighting against their negative feelings, they are graceful in their acceptance of them. This allows them to come gently and gracefully out of negative feeling states into more positive states of mind.

The next time you're feeling bad, rather than fight it, try to relax. See if, instead of panicking, you can be graceful and calm. Know that if you don't fight your negative feelings, if you are graceful, they will pass away.

I'm fed up of PROVING again and again !

I'm really getting nullified of being asked again and again to prove, to show, to I.... dunno but I'm really getting it to worse and I hate to repeat things.. Why cant they take me as I'm.. if not then there'll surely be a time when I'll stop caring bout it and turn rude.

In between where is my creativity, my aliveness, my being myselfness, the call of life, HOPE, has vanished ? pessimism is trying to rock over bliss. I'm definitely going away from life. I need to buck up, defy this try of negativism to take control of me. The dying inner flame has to be lit up again and show it a gush of oxygen to roar. I can do it as always I've responded well. And I hate powerlessness, alcoholism, domestic abuse, illiteracy and fear.

12 to 14 ATTEMPTS ??? WTF !

IT can take 12 to 14 attempts to quit before smokers stop for good, according to researchers at the University of California.

Professor Shu-Hong Zhu, who led the study said: "Quitting aids reduce the overall number of attempts that are needed, but smokers still have to make multiple attempts - with or without these aids."
So, the top tip for anyone who wants to break their habit is, don't give up giving up.
Each time you stop, even if it's only for a day or two, you will learn a little more about your tobacco triggers and how to head them off.
Here are some more tricks that will help:

WRITE A LIST Jot down all the reasons you want to stop - to improve your health, save money, set the kids a better example. Make a note of every single reason, no matter how small. Keep the list handy, and whenever you have time, or a craving, to kill, remind yourself of those reasons.

SET A DATE Don't try to trail off by reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke. Studies show you will simply try to suck more out of the ones you do light up. Set a date, and stick to it.

AVERSION THERAPY Nicotine is actually a poison, but because cigarettes provide a drip-feed hit, it doesn't actually make us feel ill. But smoke your day's worth in one sitting and the chances are, you will turn green. Chain smoke your way through your daily dose and breathe in the foul smell of your ashtray as it fills. Focus on all the negatives - cigarettes cease to become
fun when you have to smoke, despite feeling nauseous.

BIN THERE Once you've stopped, get rid of everything tobacco related - your cigs, matches, lighters, ashtrays, the lot. If you think you'll be tempted to retrieve cigarettes from the bin, break them and pour water over the bits.

TELL PEOPLE The chances are you'll be a bit cranky, so explain to people that you are quitting and ask them to be patient for a week or two. You'll be surprised how many reformed smokers also have little tips and tricks that help.

TRIGGER POINTS Identify the situations where you crave a cigarette - when you've having a coffee, or an alcoholic drink - and avoid them. Switch to tea or go to the gym instead of the pub. Breaking those nicotine associations will stall cravings.

DEEP BREATHS When you want to light up, take six deep breaths instead - this will relax you and combat the stress chemicals being released by nicotine withdrawals.

GET FRUITY You're much more likely to want a cigarette after eating spicy or very sweet food. Snack on fruit instead, the fresh flavours won't have the same effect.

CASH IN Work out how much money you'll save, and at the end of every smoke-free day, put it into a jar or clear container so you can see what you're saving. Use our calculator to see how much you could cash in.

GUILT FREE If you do slip, and light up, don't beat yourself up about it. Instead of focusing on the 'failure', remind yourself how long you went without a smoke and tell yourself you can do it again.

REWARDS With the cash you're saving, treat yourself to little rewards at milestones - day three, a week, a month or more.

WEIGHT UP Sugar-free gum gives your mouth something to do without piling on the calories. But don't use weight worries as an excuse for not trying to stop. You'll need to pile on vast amounts of weight to be doing as much damage as cigarettes.

Man nice peice of skills !

I wish all girls on this planet were this skilled ! It wud be more like a heaven...Nothin like football oriented chick !

Where is the AKSHAY part of me ?

Once i loved a stranger kid, i loved him real. He showed me paths to somewhere, He taught me to live life. All of a sudden i lost him sum where. I just had a year to take care of him. I miss talking to him though our languages were alien to each other but we pretended to know 'em very well... He was just a kid, tender, eyes were bright and his fingers (very tiny) were so warm.

All GOOD !

It was great to be back…
Watching proper competitive football at the Emirates for the first time in 19 long weeks since Arsenal beat Wolves 1-0 back in early April thanks to Nicklas Bendtner’s late, late header. Sure, I’d seen Man City and Fulham and Celtic in the meantime but frankly they really may as well not have existed. You need to be fearing dropping points and it was great to wake up yesterday with that concern hanging over me.
It has seen all the drama and the making of LEGENDS  !
Pre-game…
We got the return of the North Bank, Clock End and west and east stands. It’s a welcome move – though getting the “we’re the North Bank” and “we’re the Clock End” songs going in a stadium where the two are significantly further away from each other than they previously were may not be easy.
This Arsenal side…
Going forward this Arsenal side had a very good balance of creativity (Rosicky, Arshavin), pace (Theo) and height (Chamakh). We always look at our most balanced when all those three attributes are present and it was when either pace or height were lacking last season that we sometimes looked one dimensional.
The good thing about Chamakh…
Is that unlike one or two recent Arsenal strikers, he has clearly never been under the illusion that he is technically the world’s most gifted player. The upshot is that he has no qualms lowering himself to such meanial tasks as say, closing the ball down and running the line. He did that well. Yes, he missed a couple of chances, but he was in the right places. And he nodded one in at the end, despite the oil slick on his head.
The amazing this about Blackpool was…
Their complete lack of physicality. While we should be celebrating a team not trying to kick Arsenal off the pitch, two fouls from the visitors in 90 minutes does speak of a job not properly done frankly. By contrast, we committed a far more healthy nine. And it wasn’t just their approach to us: there were times too where they would stop expecting a foul to be given their way when really there was little hope of that happening.
Theo…
Was undoubtedly given the time and space that he thrives in. But equally Theo has often been given that time and space and delivered a lot less than yesterday. All three of his finishes were excellent and by and large his crossing was much improved too. The great thing about having Chamakh in the team is that there can be no excuse for poor crossing and Theo, Sagna and even Clichy all upped their game in that regard.
One defensive wall of ours…
Featured Theo, Wilshere and Arshavin. Which is all very well when Samir Nasri is taking the free-kick in training but perhaps a little short otherwise.
Talking of Wilshere…
It struck me that in getting played in central midfield by both Bolton last season and us now, he is perhaps getting the bit of a footballing education that Joe Cole missed out on at West Ham. By that I mean by being played so deep he is learning a lot about when you release the ball, when you hold it, when you do something flash and when you don’t. I really hope he keeps his place in the side and with no slight intended at Denilson, it would be a great shame if the Brazilian slotted in straight ahead of Wilshere once fit.
Look at the boots on the sending off incident…
and you will see it was definitely Chamakh who got the touch on the ball. I also think that the part of the foul that took Chamakh down was probably just inside the box. So a penalty was the right call and obviously a red had to follow under the rules. My feelings on this are quite clear: if the ref thinks a defender has in any way deliberately tried to foul the attacker then send him off by all means, but in incidences such as these (where I think the challenge was genuine), surely a penalty suffices?
And why not, if the ref judges an incident to be a clear goalscoring chance, let him give a penalty irrespective of whether the incident was in the box? Then the cards can properly be used to judge intent. The retort is always: “you will get different refs making very different calls on whether a foul outside the box should be a penalty and so it wouldn’t work”. But the point is that they already make such a call when determining whether the same incidents warrant a red card or not.
Arsenal clock at North stand at Highbury
On which note…
Without the red card I think it would have ended up around 5-1 rather than 6-0.
The emphatic nature of this victory…
Must not cloud the fact that we still need more players at the back and a new goalkeeper. I’m not saying for a second that if we get them we will be shoe-ins for the title, but the point is I just can’t see us doing it without them. More defenders simply because you need four proper central defenders at least and a new keeper because over 38 games I think Almunia and Fabianski will lose us points we can’t afford to lose.
On which note…
The Gallas transfer is only annoying because we seem so adept at losing defenders and so inept at signing them. That a guy we signed from Chelsea has gone to Spurs matters little to me. I realised over the summer that despite being one of his bigger defenders during his spell at the Emirates, he really meant very little to me emotionally.
Player ratings…
Almunia (6.5) had very little to do, Sagna (7.5) attacked well and was full of running, Clichy (7) equally so, Vermaelen (7) very comfortable and Song (6.5) fine but obviously less at home at the back and occasionally positionally suspect.
Diaby (7) got one or two groans mainly because this being Arsenal someone has to. But overall he was fine and took his goal well, Wilshere (7) was very efficient on the ball and saved the fancy stuff for the right parts of the pitch. Rosicky (7.5) was very bright before the break and will be pleased to get 90 minutes, Andrei (7) set-up the first, scored the second and generally had the look of a brow beaten minimum wage worker.
Theo (9) fails to get top marks only because of the level of opposition, while Chamakh (7) looks an ideal fit for what we need. A year ago I thought his arrival unnecessary. In hindsight I was wrong: with Bendtner and RVP missing for key games, his presence would have avoided the sorry sight of Eduardo or Arshavin toiling away on their own up front and may just have got us a few vital points.
RVP (6) and Cesc (6.5) were feeling their way back into action and Carlos Vela (6.5) came on for a kick about and was destined to score a fantastic goal until he had to use his right foot.
The Famous ARSENAL clock is back @ EMIRATES and so is the good times !
Final thought…
Blackburn away next week is our first real test: losing at Liverpool would have been no disaster, winning yesterday was obligitary and expected. But Ewood Park is the first of what I’d term our “swing” fixtures.

Why the melancholy comes in this form ?

Friend in need is friend INDEED ! Doesn't this smell of 'diplomacy'. No its called 'symbiosis' in terms of world. When I was away, far far away from my friends, I was desperate to get back near to them. I revisited my thinking and tried to hold as much as I could with the old acquaintances. But I found something messy about their thinking. Their view is terrible. The characters are quite complex. It seems a whole stinking mentality. When I was there without any cause I was 'being' cherished. I was being 'enjoyed' for the company. I was kept busy with false impressions of compatibility. I never betrayed of being what I'm not. I was always what I'm. But all of a sudden I'm forced to absorb the truth. And I'm damn glad to come across the real identity. the real perception. I was convicted of being "Diplomat", a fucking DIPLOMAT ! I was hurt actually I admit I was hurt real bad because the persona whom I was holding tight were actually present for symbiotic existence ! ha ha ha I'm now much more relaxed about knowing the real qualities of them. When I asked in what way I smelled like a diplomat, they were unable to explain the meaning of diplomat ! what a pity ! I was left funny alone to consider shallow waters the DEEP one. Man, whatever you see aint the clearer side. It is disillusioned to look different. I'm quite calm to know the real depth of persons whom I was proudly "friends".I wouldn't have invested time to think about this relationship, but it meant something for me. Thus, couldn't let it go so easily. Te mhantat na,'jithe vishwas asto tithech ghaat hoto','jithe dushkaal asto tithech terawa kalmadto','JITHE JAWALIK ASTE TITHECH TADA JAU SHAKTO'.....ani shevti to gelach !
Places matter for me. this got no connection to what I'm feeling n posting but it does fucking relate. Bangalore got me personalities with maturity, courageous lives...Here in Pune, It sucks big time man.. You'll sparely find someone speaking words without any fear, to b straight 'to tell on face' ! At the end GLAD  to LOOSE sticky relationships..

English Premier League grants Rs.4.3 cr for Indian slum kids

The English Premier League will invest Rs.4.3 crore in the next three years for the overall development of 80,000 slum children in India, said British Sports Minister Jeremy Hunt Wednesday.
The money will be spent through children charity Magic Bus, which uses the medium of sports to reach out to thousands of underprivileged children in society.
The organisation, in the next three years, will expand its services in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
Magic Bus trains local youths as mentors to run 'Sport for Development' sessions, which bring personal and social development amongst children and society.
'Sport is a fantastic way to reach out to young people, inspiring them to learn new skills and giving them the belief and chance to escape lives of hardship and poverty. However, this can only be achieved if the tools are there on the ground to support them and give them the means to achieve their ambitions,' said Hunt.
Magic Bus has been operating in Mumbai for the last 11 years and its Delhi operations were launched last November.
Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore said: 'Magic Bus is a fantastic organization that the Premier League has been proud to support in the past three years. It is heartening to know that our funding has helped train 350 Magic Bus mentors who have used football to improve lives of more than 3,500 children in Mumbai.'

Eduardo gone and so is the Uncle SOL !

The centre back, whose contract with Arsenal ran out at the end of June, moved to St James' Park today on a one-year contract.

It brings to a close Campbell's second spell under Arsène Wenger. His first tenure began in 2001 when he made the short journey across North London from Tottenham. He went on to be the defensive rock in the 2002 Double side and the Invincibles team that won the title without losing a game two years later.

He left in 2006 but returned in January this year, playing 14 games in the latter half of the campaign.
In total, Campbell made 211 appearances for the Club, scoring a dozen goals. His most famous strike came in the 2006 Champions League Final when he headed home Thierry Henry's free-kick for 10-man Arsenal to take the lead.

Gus Black 'Paranoid'

SC Neusiedl 1919 0-4 Arsenal

Marouane Chamakh opened his Arsenal account as Arsène Wenger's side completed their Austrian training camp with a straightforward 4-0 victory at SC Neusiedi on Tuesday night.
Theo Walcott and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas gave the visitors a 2-0 cushion in the first period. The Moroccan's moment came five minutes after he had come on as a half-time substitute. He burst through only to be pushed over by Markus Dombi. Chamakh picked himself up to slot home adroitly from the spot.
Shortly afterwards, another substitute, Carlos Vela, produced the coolest of chips to make it 4-0.
Neusiedl may play in the third tier of Austrian football but they had their moments. None greater than the one presented to them seconds later Harvard Nordtveit was adjudged to have handled.
However Juray Skripec could not beat Vito Mannone from 12 yards.
To be frank this was never a contest once Arsenal shook off some early lethargy. That two-goal first-half burst allowed them to move from second gear straight into cruise control.
But with Milan, Celtic and Legia Warsaw on the horizon, the tests will get tougher from now on.

The place !

So this is where it all started to get messed up for me. First it was a sorta so called 'intresting' place given to me.
later it turned to be most unlucky cubicle of my life. Met with an accident n life turned for me. I'm not able to forget the fuckin cubicle.. but still it was a nice cozy one..

I love Band Of brothers !

Again I couldn't resist myself watching the whole Band Of Brothers series for Twenty sixth time. The way Tom Hanks has pictured it is simply outstanding. Each and every detail of WAR is carved so neatly. Watching it makes you say " Wish i were born in 1920's, to be a part of WWII". Its simply brilliant. I bet I wont help myself for another watch next weekend.. ha ha i luv it.

I Luv this blog Snap !

Bhoy ! whenever I log in to blog I feel better lookin at those two jerks widh me in the bacground picture. My life really incomplete with out them..

Intresting vids

SK Sturm Graz 0-3 Arsenal

Samir Nasri stole the limelight with a sumptuous first-half double as Arsenal beat Sturm Graz 3-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Frenchman thundered home an angled drive after 16 minutes to give Arsène Wenger's side the lead. Then, two minutes from the break, Nasri curled home a wonderful free-kick in to the top left-hand corner of the net to give the visitors a lead they were unlikely to let ever slip.
Substitute Henri Lansbury added a third 12 minutes after the restart.
That ended the contest. Arsenal cruised home to complete another comprehensive, straightforward victory.
To be honest, this was standard fare but only because the visitors made it that way. They barely got out of third gear but were efficient and ruthless when they had to be. Graz just could not cope.
It was just about the perfect performance to start the ‘testing ground' phase of the campaign.
Wenger chose exactly the same squad as Saturday barring the omissions of Manuel AlmuniaConor Henderson and those who did not travel to Austria.

To HER n By HER !

"I still remember your glittering EYES,
which has coloured my life with PLEASANT dyes.
I try n try for TIME not to make you sway,
It pierces to know you still AWAY.
I'm growing GREY sensing the DISTANCE alone,
I shiver, blunder and beg life your GLANCE which is gone.
Think me, did I ever deserve a GIRL so pure...
Black soul like me answer comes not for SURE.
Uni here, alone, disgraced, half without I feel DEAD,
Yelling lone I ask the ONE not to cut my only support THREAD.
Girl you took me HIGH,
My oh my  without you I'll DIE.
I wait and ask you to COME,
You say, 'kido' it cant be DONE.
After dusk birds don't CHIRP, I'm all gone by the time try to SEARCH...
I'm all GONE. I'm all gone.. Luv'd you always n so will I."

"It was always when i ask GOD for someone NEAR,
Because my life was NOWHERE.
Paths were blurred and thoughts were suppressed.
With the little hope I was waiting, One day one star shimmered
And made my wish TRUE, he came and washed away all the BLUE.
He showed me life with EYES,
did bear my childish CRIES.
Rolling with the rolling stone gave me d unfeigned stability.
He's an urchin with a celestial SMILE.
I loved him and LOVE him cause,
I'm for HIM and he's is all MINE.. ALL MINE !"

No wonder LOVE thing can make a hell lot of characters outta us. For instance I enjoyed HER being a poet :P
